Saturday, August 10
9:00am-12:00pm: First Year Move-In
5:00pm-6:00pm: Parent Orientation (BLUU Ballroom)
Parents are encouraged to attend this optional information session if they have
questions regarding Panhellenic recruitment. For those who are unable to attend, we
will post the presentation on the TCU Panhellenic website prior to recruitment.
Sunday, August 11
9:00am-10:00am: PNM Orientation (Daniel-Meyer Coliseum [DMC]) – MANDATORY
PNMs will learn more about the recruitment process and have the opportunity to meet
their Recruitment Counselors.
Sunday, August 11 and Monday, August 12
Round 1 – Scholarship
Round 1 will take place over two days. PNMs will attend an open house for each of
the twelve sororities. The events will last 20 minutes each and PNMs will briefly get to
know a few ladies from each chapter.
Attire: PNM T-shirt, Casual Shorts/Skirt, Comfortable Shoes
Tuesday, August 13
Round 2 –Service
PNMs may be invited back to up to 9 events. Each event will last 30 minutes and PNMs
will learn about the sorority’s philanthropy and service opportunities.
Attire: Blouse, Shorts/Skirt, Flats or Flat Sandals
Wednesday, August 14
Round 3- Leadership
PNMs may be invited back to up to 6 events. Each event will last 50 minutes and PNMs
will have a chance to enjoy skits put on by each chapter to show what sisterhood is all
about!
Attire: Sundress, Dressy Blouse with Shorts/Skirt, Wedges or Flat Sandals
Thursday, August 15
Round 4- Sisterhood/Preference
Preference Round is the most formal of all events and will have a more serious
atmosphere. PNMs may be invited back to up to three events, each lasting 60 minutes.
This round serves as an opportunity to reflect on the recruitment process and consider
which chapter you feel most at home. After this round, PNMs will rank their remaining
chapters in the order they would like to join.
Attire: Cocktail Dress, Heels/ Wedges or Flat Sandals
Friday, August 16
Bid Day
Bid Day is the day that chapter bid cards are distributed. After receiving a bid, PNMs
will receive their chapter’s bid day shirt and join their new chapter for a day of fun
sisterhood activities!
Attire: White T-Shirt, Casual Shorts/Skirt, Comfortable Shoes
